Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, downloading our mobile application, or accessing SubHub Pro ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
SubHub Pro is a construction project management platform that connects Homeowners, General Contractors, and Subcontractors. We provide project posting, bid management, in-app messaging, document sharing, milestone-based payments, and scheduling tools. We act as a technology platform and are not a party to any construction contracts, employment agreements, or service arrangements between users.
3. User Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our policies.
4. User Roles and Responsibilities
- Homeowners may post projects, review bids, and make payments through the platform.
- General Contractors may manage projects, invite subcontractors, submit proposals, and manage milestone payments.
- Subcontractors may browse available jobs, submit bids, communicate with contractors, and receive payments.
All users are responsible for the accuracy of information they post, including project descriptions, bids, qualifications, and licensing information.
5. Payments & Subscriptions
- Certain features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- Payments between users (e.g., milestone payments, invoice payments) are processed through Stripe. SubHub Pro facilitates these transactions but is not responsible for the quality of work performed.
- Subscription fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Mobile Application
Our mobile app is available for iOS devices. By downloading and using the app, you also agree to Apple's Terms of Service. The app may request permissions for camera, photo library, location, and push notifications — each is optional and can be managed in your device settings.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
- Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or licensing status.
- Submit fraudulent bids or project postings.
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
- Attempt to circumvent platform payments to avoid fees.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the platform's operation.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of SubHub Pro (including text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you upload (project photos, documents) but grant us a license to display and use it as necessary to operate the platform.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
SubHub Pro is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of work performed by users on the platform. We do not verify contractor licenses or insurance beyond what users self-report.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SubHub Pro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
